This relaxed half day course will take place outdoors in a beautiful, privately owned woodland, near the coastal village of Garlieston. Whilst reconnecting with nature in a beautiful setting, you will be taught the basics of Bushcraft and introduced to the skills of fire-lighting, shelter building, plant and tree identification, natural navigation, natural cordage, whittling and cooking on an open fire. Please note not all topics will be covered, the content of the taster day will vary depending upon what time of the year it is.
